about wine is Pete's Eastside Wine Shop.
Tastings are held every Saturday between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Try the
new vintage of your favorite wine or something new and
unusual. Once a month, Pete's Eastside opens all of the
wines on the current month advertised special list (usually 40 to
45 selections), something for every palate! Pete's generally opens
every advertised wine, unless it is very limited or very expensive
(Pete's opens wines up to $75). If there is an event to catch
every month, this is it! In addition to being fun, these
tastings are also a great learning tool for wine salespeople. It
gives them the opportunity to try the competition's wines along
with their own. Pete's ad starts after the
first Tuesday of the month, and the ad tasting is the following
Saturday. At the ad tasting, Pete's usually has a list ready of
the upcoming events for the rest of the month. These
tastings are generally not as big as the major ad tasting, but
offer different selections and are usually hosted with a
winery representative or distributor salesperson.
