Ken Seligman
Vice President of Marketing, WineSquire.com
Ken Seligman brings over twenty years of product
promotion and marketing experience to the WineSquire team. Ken has
always been in pursuit of great wine. "Like many
people, I was always intimidated by the huge selection of wine at
the various wine shops and local grocery stores. I never knew
which wine was good," remarks Ken. "I would spend a lot
of money on a bottle and then find it barely drinkable! What
WineSquire does for me is to nearly guarantee that I will find a
good bottle of wine."
Ken's wine experience includes two in-depth pilgrimages to the
Napa and Sonoma Valleys. He has also extensively toured the
Washington State wineries that are concentrated in the southeast
Washington area. "Touring wineries is a very pleasant way to
pick up a lot of wine knowledge. Wineries are more than eager to
educate their future customers. That's a great marketing idea that
really benefits the avid wine consumer."

Sterling Vineyards Diamond Mountain Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
1997 (Californaia) $40
Sterling Vineyards has a secret vineyard high up on a mountainside
above the Napa Valley. Due in part to the volcanic soil, the
unique micro-climate and the lack of any irrigation, their vines
produce small, yet intense grapes. This is a rich,
deeply-concentrated cab. Serve this wine last in any wine tasting
as it will definitely set the taste standards of your guests,
leaving them begging for more! Sterling has several different
years of this wine available at prices that range from the $50's
to the mid-$100's.

Bonair Frankensauv NV (Washington) $9.99
A premium blend red table wine from Bonair
Winery in Washington State. A blend of Cabernet Franc (60%)
and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) brings out a very fruity taste with
some black pepper overtones.

Bonair Late Harvest Riesling 1999 (Washington) $6.99 (375
ml)
This is a delightful dessert wine. The residual sugar is always just
right with enough acid to perfectly balance this wine. The taste is
a sweet fruity, nearly honey-like experience.

great way to finish off a nice dinner." -Ken Seligman
Spoon a quart of premium quality vanilla bean ice cream into a
blender or food processor. Using about ˝ cup of a good Late Harvest
Riesling, blend slowly, adding more wine until you reach a
nice thick soft ice cream-like consistency. Immediately spoon the
mixture into parfait glasses. Serve right away. Watch the blissful
facial expressions of your guests!
