Mark Millett
Contributor, WineSquire.com
Welcome to Mark Millett's little corner of the
Internet. Mark works full time as a
landscaping engineer, but on Saturdays he is transformed into a
wine specialist!
The 1995 harvest converted Mark to a serious buyer and admirer
of the wine industry.
Mark's focus is on red wine from California, Washington and
Oregon, however on "tasting day" Mark is exposed to
everything wine has to offer at Pete's Eastside "the best
wine shop in the Seattle area."

Reininger Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 (Washington) $29
When it comes to wine, stay close to home if you are from
Washington State. This new year will be our best yet. Whether you
are looking at '98 Cabernet Sauvignons, '99 Merlots, or whites,
Washington will be selling the best quality wines ever at
reasonable prices. A new wine to recommend is the 1998 Reininger
Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla. A nice drinking wine with
chocolate notes, strong color and nicely priced. |

St. Clement Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 1997 (California) $30
This is the best bottle yet at $30 and under! Darker red color and
a wonderful nose with dried fruit flavors with a non-tart
mouthfeel lead to a nice finish. This wine is worth the money and
a pleasure to drink. It would match well with stinky cheese, BBQ
steak or lamb. Enjoy.
