Enhanced Employment Page
By John W. Schultz

Due to overwhelming demand WineSquire is enhancing our employment page. WineSquire receives many resumes and employment inquiries each month. Now job searchers can post their resume on WineSquire for prospective employers to view. In addition to posting resumes, WineSquire will also pass them along to local hiring managers as makes sense, given the employment objectives of the searcher. Both services are included in the small fee.

In addition, employers can post job openings as well. We expect this will be a favorite feature on WineSquire, as posted jobs will get quite a big response given the current employment situation. The pool of candidates is quite large.

Job postings will be very helpful to those individuals already employed in the industry to search for a new job without alerting their current employer of their career advancement objectives. This means that well established, high quality professionals will be able to explore opportunities without “putting their name out there,” and risk jeopardizing their current situation.

There are also many people hoping to get their foot in the door in the wine industry, and that is a good thing. New blood is always needed. Entry-level jobs may not be glamorous, but everyone has to start somewhere. Working in the wine industry can be a great deal of fun, it is usually interesting, and the liquid perks are outstanding!

If you are an employer in the wine industry with an opening, please contact us to post your job today.
