on the Move Keep up to date with people in the Seattle wine trade. Below is a list of some recent moves in the
industry.

- Tom DiNardo - Congratulations to WineSquire
Contributor Tom DiNardo who completed the
International Sommelier Guild’s grueling eighteen month long
Sommelier Diploma Program and is the first US auctioneer to
become a credentialed sommelier.

- Ken Avedisian recently joined Cordon Selections, Inc.
as its President. He joins industry veteran Matt Mabus. Ken and
Matt are the company’s sole shareholders and members of its
Board of Directors. Cordon Selections, Inc. is known for its
outstanding selection of wines with distinction and character.
Ken has been involved in the food and wine industry for many
years. Most recently as vice-president of the internet fine and
rare wine auction house: WineBid.com. Ken is also very active on
the board of directors of The American Institute of Wine & Food,
a not for profit educational institute founded by industry
legends Robert Mondavi, and the late Julia Child and Richard
Graff. The AIWF has chapters around the country providing
educational events and scholarships. He is also on the executive
committee of A Culinary Evening With The California Winemasters.
The event held each May at Paramount Studios in LA, benefiting
cystic fibrosis research, raising in excess of $1,400,000 in net
results..
