Bio

After completing his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Washington, Tom started his professional career as an accountant for a respected media company.
Seeking a more exciting and interesting career, Tom then moved to Alaska Distributors (previously Western Washington Beverage) in 1991 where he started as a merchandiser. Moving into sales in 1992, he managed a territory with convenience retailers and various restaurants, pubs, bars, pizza houses, and grocery stores. During this time Tom learned what it takes to make a wine retailer successful. After 2 years in the combo division, Tom was promoted to one of the top Grocery Wine territories in the company, calling on a number of top 10 accounts. He was promoted to District Manager in 1997, leading a top wine sales team in Seattle.

Tom earned his Masters in Business Administration after moving to the finance and administration group at Alaska Distributors. As Manager of Planning and Development, Tom's duties included brand valuation and acquisition analysis, forecasting, business planning, and business development.

Tom moved to the internet media world in March of 2005, serving in various finance and business intelligence roles at Zango and blinkx.com. He currently serves as Vice President of Business Intelligence in the Downloadable Software group at media pioneer Adknowledge.

Tom lives with his wife (Anne) and three children (Maile, Lindsay & Tommy) in Kirkland, Washington.
